About

Welcome! I created this page to help parents quickly find apps for their Nabi tablets. If you don’t know what  a Nabi tablet is, check out  the links to the Nabi home and facebook pages.

Quick overview of what and why…I have 3 boys and 2 Nabis, though I do sense a third in our future. I am always looking for fabulous, fun and educational apps for them. Instead of sorting through all of the big app markets out there, I thought it would be great if we had one location to look for apps that are good for kids and compatible with the Nabi. So, what you see here is just that. Most of the apps listed I have either checked out myself or have been suggested by other parents with Nabis.

In most cases the descriptions you see come directly from the product description from the app markets. Please comment on and rate apps by clicking on the post and using the star rating system. If you have an app to suggest, please send it to apps4nabi@gmail.com.

Disclaimers…This site is truly FYI only. Please read all of the info provided by the developers about security, ads, etc. yourself before you download any app. If you need info about your Nabi, please contact the Nabi Cares team from their website. As I said…I am a parent who owns Nabis, not someone who works for Nabi. And while I will make every effort to update things and keep the info here fresh, please understand that I work full time and have 3 kids, so most updates will happen after bedtime (Eastern time).

Happy Browsing!

  1. Great site!! I’m considering getting a Nabi, or 2. I have two boys, 5 and almost 4. I have an android phone so I was checking out some of the apps you posted, it would be nice if you could include the price or have a free section.

I found this app while looking, not sure how it works with the Nabi, but it’s really cool!!

    Keep up the good work!!

    • Thanks! I’m glad you find it useful. At this point I haven’t included price because it changes so often, and is often different in the different markets. I checked and the Picasso Mirror does work on the Nabi. My boys are the same age as yours (plus another 2 year old) and they love their Nabis.

  2. Hi…I just bought a Nabi 2 for a Christmas present for my kids. I love it…except I’m a little confused about something.
It states that Inspire has teamed up with Nabi for special needs kids. It states some apps for communication but says they are available from Google Play, but Google Play is not available on the Nabi.

    Any info would be great!

      Where’s My Water

  3. I live in the UK and have just bought the Nabi for my son as a christmas present. I was hoping to load Where’s My Water but when I try and do it through Amazon, it takes me to the US site and comes up with an error message relating to my geographic location? Has anyone in the UK managed to load it?

  4. i am trying to add the zoodles app for my grandkids to send videos and pictures

    • It appears that you can get it from the Amazon app store and it indicates it is compatible with the nabi. I have not tested it and I would be a little worried that as a kids mode app that it may have issues running with nabi mode already installed on the nabi.
